Practical guide
You keep your usual number: your calls are simply forwarded to your assistant's number, and it picks up for you. Here are the codes for a mobile and for a landline with Proximus, Orange, Telenet, VOO, Scarlet and edpnet.
In the codes below, replace +32NNNNNNNNN (mobile) or 0NNNNNNNNN (landline) with your assistant's number. In your AlloBob customer area, the call forwarding section shows these same codes already filled in with your number, ready to copy.
Forwarding “when you don't answer” is the one we recommend for a self-employed professional: you stay in control of your phone, and the assistant only picks up if you don't answer. Forwarding all calls suits anyone who no longer wants to be disturbed at all.
Mobile
On the phone whose calls you want to forward, dial a code and press the call button. A message confirms activation. The same codes work with Proximus, Orange, BASE, Telenet, Mobile Vikings, Scarlet, VOO and edpnet.
When you don't answer Recommended
Your phone rings first; your assistant takes the call if you don't pick up.
**61*+32NNNNNNNNN#
All calls
Your phone no longer rings: your assistant answers everything.
**21*+32NNNNNNNNN#
When you're already on a call
**67*+32NNNNNNNNN#
When your phone is switched off or has no signal
**62*+32NNNNNNNNN#
The call is usually forwarded after about twenty seconds. With Proximus and edpnet, you can choose this delay (from 5 to 30 seconds, in steps of 5) by adding it to the code. For 15 seconds: **61*+32NNNNNNNNN**15#

With some operators, cancelling a forward also cancels forwarding to your voicemail: switch it back on afterwards if you use it.

With some operators, you need to activate it first. Proximus: paid call forwarding option, to order on proximus.be. VOO: paid option, to be activated by customer service. Scarlet and edpnet: included, nothing to activate.
Dial *21, wait for the tone, then dial your assistant's number. To turn it off: #21.

*21 0NNNNNNNNN
Activate it first: call forwarding option, in MyTelenet.
The same code as above for all calls.
Forwarding “when you don't answer” isn't available on every Orange landline; on a VDSL business line, add *# in front of the code.
Behind a FRITZ!Box, add *# in front of the code.
Business
Forwarding is set up in the phone system (3CX, Proximus Call Connect, Telenet Business…): a forward to an external number, using your assistant's number. Your installer can do it in a few minutes.
Good to know
A forwarded call is usually charged by your operator like a call you would make yourself to that number: it comes out of your bundle, or is billed outside it. Check your tariff, especially from a landline.
From a mobile, your assistant should normally see the number of the person calling. From a landline or a phone system, it depends on your operator or installer: after your test call, check which number appears in your call log.
Forwarding “when you don't answer” normally replaces forwarding to your voicemail. If your voicemail still picks up, ask your operator to deactivate it.
Forwarding isn't always possible with a prepaid card: Proximus, for example, doesn't allow it on Pay&Go or Full Control.
These are the standard GSM codes and the ones published by Belgian operators. Options and menus change over time: if in doubt, your operator's help page is the reference. Always make a test call.

No. You can also give your assistant's number directly to your customers, or put it on your website and your Google Business Profile: calls then come in without any forwarding.
